Grasmere

Grasmere is located in the centre of the Lake District and is adjacent to a lake of the same name and is very popular with tourists. Over looking the village is Helm Crag offering great views and fell walks around the area.

Grasmere is a stunning and charming village set in the heart of the Lakes District offering something for anybody. Grasmere is popular with tourists and offers many gift shops, restaurant and Inns.

Grasmere Lake, to the south of the village, offers many gentle walks in this picturesque setting or for the more adventurous there are numerous walks on the craggy peaks such as Scafell and langdale pikes.

Grasmere is famous for its poet who lived here for many years and two of Wordsworth former houses can be found in the village. The village has a 13th century church, the village hosts many 19th and 20th century with some older farms nearby.
